In this age of remakes, it’s always nice when studios look to untapped IP for their movie ideas. Except when that IP is the game Battleship or the Tomorrowland ride at Disney. But it’s usually nice. Well I know what franchise (because it would span a legacy of films) is calling out for creation.
Everyone is looking to tell the Great American Story: love, war, hardship, shrugging, wise-cracking parrots. This story has already been told. Ladies and gentleman, from the screenwriter who brought you Rocket Crocodile in the World of Tomorrow, may I present Elliott Kalan’s “Ziggy”, the Ziggy movie. Get Zigg’d.
